A refreshing take on a time-honored profession

Bookkeeper and woman founder of bookkeeping practice.

Hi, I’m Amanda Worth! My love for numbers started with a childhood fascination with piggy banks—a seemingly simple thing that sparked my interest in accounting and finance.

From placing spare change and allowances in my piggy bank to earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of South Florida, that journey led me to become a Certified Public Accountant. I spent more than a decade in the retail, e-commerce, and technology industries, working with both large publicly traded companies and startups.

While my corporate career was rewarding, I knew I wanted to make a more direct impact. I founded this practice to bring an expert understanding of complex accounting and tax matters to a personal level—helping small business owners and individuals feel truly empowered and confident about their financial future.

Our story begins with yours

Bookkeeper of woman-owned business

From conversations with local business owners, like my hair stylist, Dentist, and the nearby scuba diving shop, came a clear message: they needed bookkeepers and CPAs who blended modern financial expertise with a truly personal, client-first experience.

I built Friendly Figures on the principle that small businesses and individuals deserve access to a CPA who offers expert, reliable, and timely services with clear, proactive communication and believes in genuine client partnership.
